What is the minimum age to rent from you?

We would rather like to do business with clients who are actually 25 years and above due to our insurance coverage restrictions. But, based on your situation, whenever possible, we always try to be accommodating.

In case you are below 25 years, try checking with your insurance company to see if you would be covered for rental vehicles, particularly for pick-up trucks, and then call us.

Are your rooftop tents kids friendly?

Absolutely! Please keep in mind that using our rooftop camping vehicles you’ll have to climb up a little ladder. If this is a concern, we also offer an extra camping tent with all of our packages which you may put up on the ground. This may be much more comfortable for both you and also your young ones.

How many individuals can your camping trucks accommodate?

The camping vehicles sleep 3 people at most, though in case there are more in your group, we do provide an extra tent, as well. With this, we can easily allow for as much as 5 individuals. All of our trucks have 5 seatbelts.

What about surfboards?

Before our arrival in Kauai, do we need to get a Kauai camping permit?

It’s a better to organize your Kauai camping license prior to your arrival. For the majority of private campgrounds, which we always recommend first, you can secure your permits on the internet and also on-the-spot in the respective office.

If you opt to camp at a county campground and set up a ground tent, you can ask for permits by visiting the “County of Kauai Camping Information” page.

Non-residents have to pay three dollars per night up-front. Payment methods accepted with this particular application are money orders and cashier’s checks. However, it is not necessary to book your camping licenses before your planned arrival. You can also get them at the designated permit offices in Kauai, which is usually easier.

What is the processing time for getting camping permits?

If you decide to go to a state or private camping ground, both online and in person reservations are possible.
