Is there an age requirement to rent from you?

We try to work with customers who are 25 years and older because of our insurance policy restrictions. Nevertheless, depending on your situation, whenever possible, we strive to be accommodating.

In case you are below 25 years, try contacting your insurer to find out whether you would be insured for rental vehicles, particularly for pick-up trucks, after which you can contact us.

Can you accommodate families who have children?

Certainly! Please keep in mind that with our rooftop campers you will need to climb one small ladder. If this is a concern, we provide an additional camping tent with each package which you can easily put up on the ground. This could be more convenient for you and also your little ones.

How many individuals can your camping trucks accommodate?

Am I able to visit any beach front for camping?

You could go to any beach, but you can only put up your camp in official camping grounds. This is the typical practice here on Kauai. We will supply you with a list of the top places to explore and to camp in. Please remember that driving on the beaches isn’t allowed on Kauai.

Are we permitted to camp in the wild or can we just visit official camping grounds? If so, what is the fee?

No, wild camping isn’t allowed in Kauai. You can only camp in specified areas with a valid camping permit. One advantage of these campgrounds is that you will have total access to facilities, such as showers, washrooms & picnic tables. Do we have to get Kauai camping permits before we arrive in Kauai?

It is a better to get your Kauai camping license prior to your arrival. For most private campgrounds, which we always recommend first, you can get your licenses online and also in person in the respective office.

If you decide to camp at a county campsite and use a ground tent, you may ask for permits by visiting the “County of Kauai Camping Information” page.
