Is there a minimum age for renting from you?

We prefer to work with clients who are twenty-five years and above due to our insurance policy restrictions. Nevertheless, based on your circumstances, whenever we can, we try to be flexible.

Would you be able to accommodate families who have kids?

Of course! Please note that using our rooftop camping vehicles you’ll have to climb up one small ladder. If this is an issue, we provide an extra tent with all of our packages which you can put up on the ground. This can be much more comfortable for both you and your young ones.

What is the max. capacity of your vehicles?

We are able to fit 3 individuals at most, though if there are more in your party, we do provide an additional camping tent, too. With this, we are able to accommodate as much as 5 individuals. All of our trucks have 5 seatbelts.

Do you offer surfboards?

Absolutely yes, we provide surfboards and boogie boards as well as fins upon request for a small fee. Just tell us in advance if you want to rent one, so that we can add it to your reservation and have it ready for you at departure.

Can I visit any beach for camping?

You could drive up to any beach, however, you should only put up your camp in designated camping sites. Here on Kauai, this is the standard procedure. We will supply you with a list of the top places to check out and also to camp in. Please remember that driving a vehicle on the beaches isn’t allowed on Kauai.

Is “wild camping” allowed or can we just go to designated camping grounds? If so, how much does it cost?

No, wild camping is not allowed in Kauai. You may only camp in designated locations with a current camping permit. The associated fee is approximately $3 per night in the majority of Kauai county parks, though private camping grounds may be a little more. The good thing about these campsites is that you will have full access to facilities, including showers, washrooms & picnic kitchen tables. Do we need to get Kauai camping permits before our arrival in Kauai?
