Are there any age restrictions to rent from you?

We try to work with clients who are twenty-five years and above due to our insurance policy restrictions. Nevertheless, based upon your circumstances, whenever we can, we try to be flexible.

If you are younger than 25 years, consider checking with your insurance provider to determine if you would be covered for rental vehicles, particularly for pick-up trucks, after which you can call us.

Are you able to accommodate families with kids?

Of course! Please note that with our rooftop camping vehicles you will need to climb up a small ladder. If this sounds like an issue, we also provide an extra camping tent with each package which you could set up on the ground next to the camper vehicle. This may be much more comfortable for you and also your children.

What is the max. capacity of your camper trucks?

We can fit 3 individuals at most, though if there are more in your group, we do offer an additional tent, as well. With this, we are able to fit about 5 individuals. All of our trucks have 5 seatbelts.

Am I able to visit any beach front for camping?

You could go to any beach, but you should only set up your camp in designated camping grounds. Here on Kauai, this is the standard practice. We will give you a list of the best places to explore and also to go camping. Please be aware that driving a vehicle on the beaches isn’t permitted on Kauai.

Is “wild camping” allowed or are we just able to go to official camping sites? If so, how much does it cost?

No, wild camping isn’t allowed on the island of Kauai. You can only go camping in specific locations with a current camping permit. The fee is approximately $3 per night stay in many Kauai county campgrounds, but private camp sites may be a bit more. Before our arrival in Kauai, do we need to get a Kauai camping permit?

It is definitely a better to get your Kauai camping permits before your journey. For the majority of private campgrounds, which we always recommend first, you can secure your permits on the internet and also on-the-spot in the designated office.
