Are your roof top tent campers kids friendly?

Absolutely! Please note that with our rooftop campers you will need to climb a little ladder. If this is an issue, we offer an additional camping tent with every package which you can easily set up on the ground beside the camper vehicle. This could be more suitable for you and your children.

What is the maximum capacity of your camper vehicles?

The camper trucks sleep 3 individuals maximum, although in case there are more in your party, we do have an additional camping tent, as well. With this, we are able to fit up to 5 people. All of our vehicles have 5 seatbelts.

Can I visit any beach front for camping?

You can go to any beach, however, you can only set up your camp in designated camping sites. Here on Kauai, this is the standard practice. We’ll provide you with a list of the greatest places to explore and to camp in. Please remember that driving on the beaches isn’t permitted on Kauai.

Is “wild camping” allowed or can we just visit official camping sites? If so, how much is the cost?

No, wild camping is not allowed in Kauai. You can only go camping in designated areas with a valid camping permit. The fee is approximately $3 per night stay in many Kauai county parks, though private camp sites could be a bit more. One advantage of these campgrounds is that you have full access to amenities, including restrooms, showers and picnic tables.
