We try to do business with clients who are actually twenty-five years and above due to our insurance coverage restrictions. Nevertheless, depending on your needs, whenever possible, we always try to be accommodating.
In case you are below 25 years, try checking in with your insurer to see if you would be insured for rental vehicles, particularly for pick-up trucks, after which you can call us.

Of course! Please keep in mind that using our rooftop campers you will need to climb up a small ladder. If this sounds like an issue, we also offer an extra tent with every package which you could put up on the ground beside the camping vehicle. This could be much more comfortable for you as well as your children.

Ideal Spots For Camping Outdoors On Kauai & Information About Camping Permits
Am I able to visit any beach front for camping?
You could go to any beach, but you can only put up your camp in designated camping sites. Here on Kauai, this is the usual procedure. We will supply you with a list of the top locations to check out and to camp in. Please remember that driving a vehicle on the beaches is not allowed on Kauai.
Are we allowed to camp in the wild or can we just visit official camping sites? If so, how much will it cost?
No, wild camping is not permitted on the island of Kauai. You should only go camping in specific areas with a valid camping permit. The associated fee is around $3 per night stay in many Kauai county campgrounds, though private campgrounds could be a bit more. The good thing about these campgrounds is that you will have full access to facilities, including showers, bathrooms and picnic dining tables. Please note that if you choose to camp on the county camp sites, you are only permitted to set up the ground tent.

Do we need to get Kauai camping permits before we arrive in Kauai?
It is definitely a good idea to organize your Kauai camping license prior to your trip. For most private campsites, which we always recommend first, you may get your permits online and also in person in the respective office.
If you opt to stay at a county campsite and set up a ground tent, you may obtain permits by visiting the “County of Kauai Camping Information” page.
Non-residents must pay three dollars per night in advance. Payment methods accepted with this particular application are bank checks and money orders. Nevertheless, you don’t have to reserve your camping licenses prior to your arrival. You can also obtain them at the various permit offices on the island, which is usually easier.
How much time will it take to get the camping permits?
No matter whether you choose to stay at a state or private campground, both online and in person reservations are possible. Please note that if you choose to stay at a county camping ground, mail-in applications are easy to submit, but it can take quite some time to receive your permits. Permits can be obtained at the permit offices on Kauai upon arrival; in-person permits are given on the spot.
