Are there any age restrictions to rent from you?

We prefer to do business with customers who are 25 years and older due to our insurance policy restrictions. But, based on your situation, whenever possible, we always try to be flexible.

In case you are younger than twenty-five, try checking in with your insurance provider to see if you would be covered for rental vehicles, particularly for pick-up trucks, and then call us.

Would you be able to accommodate adults with kids?

Absolutely! Please keep in mind that with our rooftop camping vehicles you will need to climb up a little ladder. If this is an issue, we offer an extra tent with all of our packages which you can put up on the ground beside your camping vehicle. This could be more convenient for you as well as your young ones.

How many people can your camper trucks fit?

We can accommodate 3 individuals maximum, although if there are more in your group, we do have an additional tent, as well. With this, we are able to accommodate up to 5 people. All of our trucks have 5 seatbelts.

Do you have surfboards?

Absolutely yes, we provide surfboards & boogie boards and also fins on request for a fee. Just inform us beforehand if you want to rent one, so we can add it to your booking and have it ready for you at departure.

Prior to our arrival in Kauai, do we need to get a Kauai camping permit?

It is definitely a good idea to obtain your Kauai camping permits prior to your journey. For most private camping grounds, which we always recommend first, you may get your licenses on the internet and also in person in the respective office.

If you opt to stay at a county campground and use a ground tent, you can request permits by going to the “County of Kauai Camping Information” page.

In advance, the charges are $3 per night for non-residents of Hawaii. Payment methods accepted with this application are money orders & cashier’s checks. However, you don’t have to book your camping permits before your arrival. You could also obtain them at the designated permit offices on the island, which is typically easier.

How much time will it take to obtain the camping permits?

No matter whether you choose to go to a state or private camping ground, both online and in person reservations are possible.
